Rank SenpAI helps Shopify merchants research product-specific topics, generate blog articles, and publish approved content. This policy explains what the service handles when a merchant installs and uses the app.

Information we handle

When you install the app, Shopify provides the shop domain and authorization information needed to operate the app. Rank SenpAI stores the store catalog, blog structure, article metadata, merchant settings, title research, generated drafts, and billing state needed to provide the service.

The app requests product and content permissions. It does not request customer, order, payment, or checkout data, and it is not designed to collect shopper information.

AI and service providers

To research topics and generate drafts, Rank SenpAI may send relevant merchant-provided product, content, and strategy context to its configured AI provider. The app does not intentionally send customer or order data because it does not request those Shopify permissions.

Shopify, hosting providers, and AI providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. Rank SenpAI uses those services only to operate the app, provide requested generation, and maintain reliability.

Retention and deletion

Store data is retained while the app is installed so the merchant can continue using settings, drafts, history, and publishing features. When Shopify sends an app-uninstalled or shop-redact event, Rank SenpAI deletes the associated store records and session data, subject to short-lived operational backups and logs.

Security and contact

Access tokens and application secrets are kept on the production host and are not included in generated content or logs. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but Rank SenpAI limits access to the data needed to operate the installed app.
